Tori Spelling Slams Rumors She And Dean McDermott Are On The Verge Of A Split Amid Money Woes

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott definitely have their share of challenges to deal with. However, they made it clear in a recent interview that “an aggressive, tumultuous relationship” is not one of them – despite the recent speculation that their marriage could be in trouble.

Last week, during the Tapout with Tori & Dean event at Tapout Fitness in Woodland Hills, California, Spelling said that the rumors simply aren’t true and they “don’t have relationship problems.”

McDermott agreed, adding that between the rumors about his marriage and the online bullying, things have been “awful,” and “it’s just a free for all…Celebrities have feelings.”

Recently, online bullies have gone after the couple, with some going as far as body-shaming their children on social media.

“I am absolutely horrified and disgusted by the comments being left about my children,” McDermott wrote in the comments after he posted a family photo on Instagram. “Body shaming and bullying my children??!! What is wrong with you people??!!”

The 52-year-old actor told Us Weekly that when people go after kids, it is wrong and crosses the line. He added that if people don’t like him, then they need to stop following him because it is a “negative waste of time.” He says it is much better to do something positive, like finding someone you admire and complimenting them.

McDermott and Spelling have been married since May 2006, and they have five children together – Liam, 11, Stella, 10, Hattie, 7, Finn, 6, and Beau, 23 months.

As for their money woes, Spelling and McDermott have been doing all they can to earn some cash and clear their mounting debt. Spelling just finished her stint on The Masked Singer and recently confirmed a Beverly Hills, 90210 spinoff, while McDermott just finished filming Season 3 of Netflix’s Slasher, and he has also become a certified boxing instructor at Tapout Fitness.

McDermott says that he can teach multiple boxing and MMA classes, and he recently started a class called Lunch Punch at noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The actor says it’s a unique 75-minute one-way sparring class, where you get to hit him, but he can’t hit you.

Dean McDermott explained that the class allows people to put their heavy bag and punch mitt skills to use in a real fight scenario without the risk of getting hurt. Tori Spelling is so supportive of her husband’s new venture, she even popped in last week.
