Momoland Makes Comeback With Banger, "I'm So Hot"

Nearly ninth months since making their last comeback, K-pop girl group Momoland has returned with an epic banger, “I’m So Hot.” Like many K-pop tracks, the song blends different genres, including electronic, pop, and jazz, and features a saxophone throughout with the girls alternating between singing and rapping.

“I’m So Hot” is part of Momoland’s new EP, Show Me, which also released today. The music video for the song shows the members getting ready backstage and trying on different looks. Fans would notice that two members, Daisy and Teaha, are absent from the video. According to AllKPop, they will be taking a break this comeback due to “personal reasons.”

Momoland rose to fame after releasing their hit, “Bboom Bboom,” last year. As of March 2019, the music has reached over 330 million views. It peaked at No. 2 on the Gaon Digital Chart and No. 4 on the World Digital Song Sales Chart. They followed up with “BAAM,” which peaked at No. 13 on the Gaon Digital Chart, in June of 2018.

The group is expected to promote their new single, “I’m So Hot,” on various Korean music channels in the coming weeks.
