Rumours have been flying around for the past months about who would be performing at the upcoming Super Bowl halftime show. A few of the artists in the talks included Adele, Maroon 5 and even Bruno Mars.
Shortly after she announced her next album, Lady Gaga and NFL have revealed that she is the Super Bowl 51 halftime performer. Check out the grand reveal below.

Gaga is no stranger to football performances. Last year, she opened up the popular game with the National Anthem. Coldplay, with special guests Bruno Mars and Beyonce, lit up Levis Stadium at Super Bowl 50 earlier this year.
Super Bowl 51 will take place February 5, 2017, at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. You’ll be able to watch the show live on FOX.
It might be five months away, but we are already wondering if Lady Gaga has any special guests planned for that day! What song do you hope she will perform? Let us know by Tweeting us @CelebMix
